Q: Can anyone wear lashes?
A: Those with allergy to any adhesive should not wear eyelash extensions.
Retention depends on skin-type, environment, lifestyle, and care. Such as:
- Naturally Oily Skin Type
- Oil in Product/Cosmetics
- Climate; High Heat; Steam
- Exercise; Excessive Sweating
- Medications; rapid hair-growth
Q: What are the differences in Lash Extensions Sets?

Mega Volume | Very Full
BASED ON NATURAL SUPPORT by Shape, Length, Strength, Volume.
Q: How long does the application take?
A: Plan to set aside 2 hours for your full set application and 1 hour and 20 minutes for your fill. We do not take walk-ins and our door remains locked during business hours for no distractions. This service is gentle, painless and very relaxing, with a comfortable bed, soothing music, humidifier, and BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket).
Q: Are your products safe & gentle?
A: Yes, our products are hypo-allergenic, latex-free, formaldehyde-free, and cruelty-free. All of our products are formulated for sensitivities and we understand there is always a possibility to develop an allergy at any time. We do our best to always be conscientious of our ingredients.
Q: Will extensions damage my natural lashes?
A: Yes, with proper application and proper home care. We take great care in the health of the natural eyelashes by individually applying the extensions according to the natural eyelash support by length, volume, and curl. Our weightless cashmere extensions and medical-grade adhesive are latex-free and formaldehyde-free, for a soft, smooth and seamless application without touching the skin. The natural eyelash goes through a cycle of growth and naturally sheds with the extension attached, keeping your lashes strong and healthy. Proper at-home-care and hygiene are a must to keep natural eyelashes healthy. Always wash hands before touching eyes, do not touch, rub or pick eyes to avoid spreading germs. Wash eyes every morning and evening to remove oils, dirt, or cosmetics. This will aid in avoiding the break down of adhesive. Follow professional advice.
•Take note: We apply the eyelash extensions based on natural eyelash support.
Example: If you are used to wearing strip lashes on your eyelid skin but naturally have a minimal amount of natural lashes it is not possible to achieve that same strip lash look without potential damage to the hair follicle. It is important to have realistic expectations by what the natural eyelashes can achieve and support. The stylist will not compromise the integrity of your natural eyelashes and will follow our policy.
Q: How should I prepare for my appointment?
A: Please arrive on time, it is best to come in with no eye-makeup and clean eyes. We have an option to wash at the salon before the appointment as well. For special events; we recommend scheduling a week in advance to get used to your new eyelash extensions look.
Q: Concerned about glue sensitivity?
A: Our adhesive is hypo-allergenic. Although allergy is rare, for concerns we recommend scheduling a 48-hour allergy/patch test. If sensitivity occurs contact us for removal.
Q: How often do I need to get my extensions filled?
A: To maintain the full look, getting refills every two to three weeks is ideal! After for four weeks you’ll need a full set. TIP: Rebook after your service!
Q: What is a lash fill?
A:The natural eyelash has phases of lash growth and will cycle at different times. When your eyelash sheds, a new eyelash grows out and a new extension is applied. Every “body” is different, we naturally lose 2-4 eyelashes per day. Take proper at-home care and schedule according to your natural eyelash growth cycle to keep up with the eyelash extensions look.
Q: How often should I get a lash fill? 50% of lashes must be remaining.
A: We recommend fill-ins every 2 to 3 weeks due to the natural growth cycle. We offer different fill options by volume to best suit your needs. It is important to care for your eyelashes at home by washing your eyes every evening for proper hygiene and do not touch, pick or pull them.
Q: How do I care for the eyelash extensions?
A: Always wash hands before touching your eyes, do not rub, pick or apply anything on or near the eyes that can interfere with the bond of the eyelash extensions. Proper hygiene and care should be taken at home to avoid loss or infection. Please follow these guidelines:
- Avoid moisture-steam 24hrs after service.
- Always wash hands before touching your eyes.
- Do not brush the base of lashes - only fluff extensions.
- Avoid oil such as; oily skin, sweat, and oil in products.
- No sauna, oven, blow-dryer; will straighten/weaken
- Excessive eye-makeup wear; when removing can cause fallout
- We can not guarantee longevity if proper at-home care is not given.
- Avoid; sprays, sunscreen, creams, foundation, primer, eyeliner, mascara.

A: Yes, extensions can be applied but after at least 2 days
Q: Is lash lift suitable for short and weak lashes?
A: A lash lift can be performed on all lashes, regardless of their length or strength.
Q: Does lash lift damage natural lashes in the long term?
A: It depends on how strong chemicals are used at the time of the treatment and how skilled the technician is. At GimmiBeauty we used Ruthie Belle Lash Lift & Brow Lift products. The products contains very mild chemicals that have a minimum drying effect on natural lashes; therefore we use Shine Repair for deep nourishment that revives even the driest and most damaged lashes.
Q: Can lash lift cause allergy reaction?
A: A reaction is possible but it is minimized, as the Lash Lift products do not come into contact with the skin during treatment, except for the glue and the silicone shield. Lash lift is even suitable for individuals who are allergic to lash extensions. The lash lift glue is a completely different formula from lash extension glue. NOTE! Clients that are allergic to peroxide can not be seen, unfortunately the fixing lotion contains peroxide and the tinting process as well.
Q: Can a lash serum be used after the treatment?
A: Yes, if the lash have been treated with Shine Repair.
Q: What is a Boosting Shine Repair Treatment?
A: Shine Repair is a next-generation product for repairing eyelashes and eyebrows. It pampers the hairs with all necessary nourishment but also closes the lash cuticles completely after a lash or brow lift. Shine repair can be used as treatment on its own to help aid over processed (burned) lashes and brows. Ask your service provider more about the Boosting Shine Repair Treatment!
Q: What is a Reverse Procedure?
A: A reverse procedure is to straighten overly tight curled lashes.
